We studied the deflection of mandelic acid and the enantioseparation of mandelic acid in the presence of 6-monodeoxy-6-monoamino-β-cyclodextrin hydrochloride (MMBCD) as a chiral selector. The experiments were performed in various experimental setup arrangements. Our study includes experimental measurements using a lab-made free flow electrophoresis (FFE) apparatus, as well as the derivation and numerical analysis of a mathematical model of FFE.
