The brand value of the Chinese search giant firm Baidu was estimated to be 4.63 billion U.S. dollars, according to the evaluation of Brand Finance in May 2024. Chinese regulators have been ratcheting up pressures on online advertising, which heavily impacted Baidu's core business. The company has shifted its focus on other segments for long-term growth, such as the cloud division, smart speakers, and even autonomous cars.
