New registrations of passenger cars by brand and model series in 2009 (FZ 10)

Through the notifications from the registration authorities in Germany, the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR) registers all newly registered vehicles in Germany. In addition to vehicle-related data, such as the brand, model series, fuel type, vehicle body, information on the holder and the registration process, such as the date of registration, are transmitted. FZ 10 shows the new registrations of passenger cars by brand and model series as well as fuel types, convertible and all-wheel drive. Furthermore, the share of the individual model series in the respective brand and the share of the brand in the total registrations is reported. In addition to the identification of the monthly registration figures, the vehicles registered up to and including the reporting month for the full year are also presented. Since January 2021, hybrid drives have been differentiated between petrol and diesel. Cutting limits are formed with the aim of a clear presentation. The respective reporting month will be published.
