eDNA sequences in Qinghai Lake basin

We proposed the concept of watershed biological information flow (WBIF) and defined it as the path, processes and control of biological information transport, exchange, interaction and feedback among different space and system along with watershed ecosystem processes. We chose the Qinghai Lake basin, which had relative simple watershed ecosystem and relative weak human disturbance, as a natural simplified model to study WBIF. We studied the WBIF in Qinghai Lake basin according to analyze the Operational Taxonomic Units (OTU) assemblages detected in riverine water eDNA samples, riparian soil eDNA samples and fish gut eDNA samples.
