This dataset is used to support the research of the article "Sodium Lidar observed multiple sodium layer structures and their dynamical coupling mechanism", consisting of a total of four NetCDF (.nc) files. Two of the nc data files, namely sodium density and zonal wind, were acquired by the Na lidar of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). The data time is 11:00–21:00 UT on June 13, 2013, with an altitude range of 80–115 km, and the observation location is Hefei. The data resolution of sodium density is 1 min and 150 m, while the zonal wind has a resolution of 30 min and 2 km. The sodium density data includes three variables: time, altitude, and density and the zonal wind data includes three variables: time, altitude, and zonal wind. The other two nc data files were observed in Wuhan, obtained by meteor radar and ionosonde respectively. The observation time of the meteor radar is 24-hour data on June 13, 2013, with an altitude range of 75–115 km and a resolution of 2 hours and 2 km. The ionosonde data covers the time range of 11:00–21:00 UT on June 13, 2013, with a resolution of 15 minutes. The meteor radar data includes four variables: time, altitude, meridional wind, and zonal wind and the ionosonde data includes three variables: time, hEs, and foEs.
