Boris — Soil Information System of the federal states, the BMLRT and the Umweltbundesamt GmbH The soil information system BORIS provides harmonised soil quality data on physical, chemical and biological soil characteristics including information on sites and soil sampling points as well as profiles. Data is available for over 10000 locations throughout Austria. Boris includes, among other things, the soil condition inventories of the federal states, the Austrian forest soil inventory, as well as studies with regional focus topics.
