A band saw blade (100, 200) may include a cutting edge (102,202) defined by a number of teeth (110,210). Each tooth (110A,110B,110C,110D,110E,110,1,210A,210B,210C 210D,210E,210) may include a tip (112,212), a rake face (114,214), a primary clearance surface (116,216) defining a primary relief angle, a secondary clearance surface (118,218) defining a secondary relief angle (A2) greater than the primary relief angle, a tertiary clearance surface (120,220) defining a tertiary relief angle greater than the secondary relief angle (A2), a first curvilinear protrusion (122,132,222,232) formed between the secondary clearance surface (118,218) and the tertiary clearance surface (120,220), a gullet surface (130), and a second curvilinear protrusion (122,132,222,232) formed between the rake face (114,214) and the gullet surface (130). The teeth (110,210) may be spaced at varying pitch distances such that a difference between a minimum teeth (110,210) per cm (TPcm) based on a maximum pitch distance (P2,P4,P5) and a maximum TPcm based on a minimum pitch distance (P2,P4,P5) is equal to or greater than 1, and may define a kerf width (K) between 0,29 cm (0,115 inches) to 0.36 cm (0,140 inches).
