Limnanthes douglasii Genomic Resources

Limnanthes douglasii, Douglas' meadowfoam, is an iconic spring wildflower of widespread distribution. The six recognized subspecies form a dominant feature of California's vernal pool and allied wetland systems and provide a critical resource for specialist pollinators. While the taxon is found throughout the northern half of California, two subspecies - and two sister species in Section Limnanthes - are rare, threatened or endangered. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
