Supporting Calculation Workbook for Technoeconomic Screening of Vertical Flow Constructed Wetlands Using Reclaimed Water in Riyadh Parks

This dataset contains the formula-driven supporting calculation workbook associated with the manuscript “Technoeconomic Screening and Decision Framework for Vertical Flow Constructed Wetlands Using Reclaimed Water in Riyadh Parks”. The workbook reproduces the principal analytical calculations reported in the study, including hydraulic sizing, water balance, pollutant mass balance, aerobic oxygen-demand screening, conceptual CAPEX and OPEX, 30-year life-cycle costing, and sensitivity analysis. The reference case evaluates a 500 m³/day park-integrated vertical-flow constructed wetland system in Riyadh using three analytical source-water scenarios. The workbook is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and verification of the principal model results presented in the manuscript. The source-water cases are analytical screening scenarios and should not be interpreted as measured year-round datasets from specific Riyadh wastewater treatment facilities. Model inputs are either stated in the manuscript, provided in the supplementary information, or derived from cited public sources.
