Digital soil overview map of Thuringia 1: 400000 (BÜK400)

The soil overview map in a scale of 1:400.000 provides information on the distribution and socialisation of Thuringia’s guiding and accompanying soils, soil species, weathering and deck substrates and dominant soil exit rocks. Subdivided according to the spatial and geographical equipment, these different soil regions are assigned, which in turn are subdivided into relatively uniform spaces, the six soil landscapes of Thuringia, in terms of their morphological structures as well as their landscape and soil genesis. For example, this map was used as a basis for the creation of geochemical maps.
