资源简介:
Optimizing pretreatment conditions for Pd-based catalysts in CO2 hydrogenation has been shown to significantly enhance catalytic performance. Specifically, pretreatment at 350 °C in a reducing environment leads to notable increases in both CO2 conversion and methanol selectivity. Previous operando X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) studies have highlighted the critical role of Pd nanoparticle characteristics in influencing performance variations. To further understand the structural changes responsible for these improvements, additional operando XAS analysis of the newly pretreated samples is proposed. This analysis is expected to provide key insight into the mechanisms driving the enhanced catalytic activity and guide the development of more efficient catalysts.
