资源简介:
The Indonesian National Social and Economic Survey (Susenas 2012) is a nationwide survey conducted to collect population and social data, with focus on information about social and economic indices. It collects data about socio-economic aspects such as food, clothing, housing, education, health, safety and employment. Therefore it serves as a main source for monitoring the social and economic progress in the society. Susenas has been conducted on an annual basis since 1963. Since 1992, in addition to a basic social and economic questionnaire (core), an additional questionnaire was introduced to gather more detailed information on special interest topics (module). A module is intended to gather more detailed information on specific topics, especially on data that changes less frequently than yearly. There are three modules of Susenas and each module is added in a three-year cycle: (1) Module of Household Consumption/Expenditure; (2) Module of Education and Socio-culture; (3) Module of Health and Housing. From 2011 on, consumption data/expenditure data are collected quarterly (in March, June, September and December), as well as the Susenas module. In the year 2012, the Susenas content included the core content and the Module of Education and Socio-Culture. Questionnaire There are two sets of questionnaires in Susenas 2012. 1. Core questionnaire (form VSEN12.K) which includes questions regarding basic social and economic conditions. The information gathered from this questionnaire is often referred to as the Susenas Core. The Susenas core is conducted annually with only slight changes of questions (addition, deletion or modification) over the years. Data from this core component is representative up to the provincial level. 2. Module questionnaire (form VSEN12.M) which comprises of detail questions regarding household consumption expenditure for food and non-food as well as household income/revenue. (Notes: In datasets held by ADA, data on income and revenue are not available). Online analysis in Nesstar can only be performed on the merged Core household and individual data files at present due to the size of the combined Core and Module Susenas 2012 data files. The Module data files can be analysed online in Nesstar, but only as individual files. The Module data files can be merged together and with the Core data files but the data must be downloaded to do this. Under the terms of license from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS), SUSENAS data from the ADA are only available for access by ANU staff and students.
