The article covers the state of general secondary education institutions in the Kashkadarya region, in particular in the Guzar district, in 1924-1991. The achievements and shortcomings of the education system in the region during this period, the backwardness of the education system, the lack of classrooms, and the orientation of education towards political goals are covered in detail. The need for school education as a result of the increasing population in the Guzar district is also highlighted.
