QoQ retail economy consumer spending growth UAE Q1 2021-Q4 2022

In Q4 of 2022, consumer spending in the retail economy in the United Arab Emirates grew by eight percent. This was the lowest level of growth since the first quarter of 2021 when consumer spending grew by one percent. The biggest increase in consumer spending in the retail economy was recorded in the second quarter of 2021 when it jumped by 58 percent.
