Fill from six features at site 41BS611 in Big Bend National Park, Texas, were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. These features represent shallow, basin-shaped hearths/thermal features capped with fire-cracked rock. This site is noted to be a large, multicomponent, open campsite containing surface features and deposits of flaked stone and ground stone artifacts. Pollen and macrofloral analyses will be used to provide information concerning plant resources utilized by the occupants of this site.
