资源简介:
The project HeatIN proposes a shift towards monitoring the daily physiological responses and behaviours of older adults living in social housing across a wide range of indoor environmental conditions to which they are exposed to during the summer months. The aim of the project is to identify indoor temperature and humidity thresholds at which physiological and behavioural responses become altered. The results will provide a basis for setting indoor environmental limits at which heat mitigation strategies should be implemented to protect health and well-being. The study protocol and further information are available on the Open Science Framework: 10.17605/OSF.IO/ZN8QE. Datasets and code related to the project will be uploaded gradually as data collection takes place each summer. The data from the summer of 2025 are already available. Each summer’s dataset includes indoor environmental data for all participants, as well as each participant’s perceptual and physiological responses.
