Global gene expression profile of small intestine from wild-type and CFTR-knockout mice

The objective of this study was to identify changes in gene expression levels between wild-type and CFTR-knockout small intestine. CFTR-knockout mice (provided by Dr. Lane Clarke of the University of Missouri) were maintained on colyte. Keywords: gene expression comparison Four wild-type and four CFTR-knockout small intestinal RNA samples were compared. To facilitate statistical analysis and reduce affects of Cy3 and Cy5 labeling, comparison of two WT and two KO were repeated with a dye flip.
本研究旨在鉴定野生型与CFTR敲除(CFTR-knockout)小鼠小肠组织间的基因表达水平差异。本研究使用的CFTR敲除小鼠由密苏里大学Lane Clarke博士提供,饲养过程中采用Colyte进行饲喂。 关键词:基因表达比较 本研究共比较了4份野生型与4份CFTR敲除小肠组织的RNA样本。为便于统计学分析并降低Cy3与Cy5标记带来的实验误差,本研究对2份野生型(wild-type,WT)与2份CFTR敲除(CFTR-knockout,KO)样本的比较实验实施了染料反转(dye flip)重复操作。
