This dataset accompanies the paper <b>“Heterogeneous stagnant slab controls focused crustal recycling and volcanic clustering.”</b><br>It includes two files containing seismological and thermochemical data used in this study.<b>NEChina_rf_2025.tar.gz</b> – Raw receiver function waveform data, processed with a Gaussian low-pass filter of 0.5.<b>thermochemical_model.dat</b> – Thermochemical structure of the upper MTZ constrained by seismic observations and mineral physics modeling. Each column represents: latitude, longitude, potential temperature (Tpot), Tpot uncertainty, basalt fraction (f), f uncertainty, water content (Cw), and Cw uncertainty.
