Brief abstract This dataset contains behavioral observations and acoustic playback experiment data from incubating female Great Reed Warblers in two populations with different brood parasitism pressures. The data includes vigilance responses (head turns, head alerts, nest leaving) to playback of Common Cuckoo, Eurasian Sparrowhawk, and European Turtle Dove calls, as well as responses to naturally occurring vocalizations.
