Persons with indication care with stay; base and zzp, quarterly

This table shows the number of persons who have an indication of care with residence on reference date (AWBZ/Wlz-funded). This care was financed until 2015 by the General Act on Special Medical Expenses (AWBZ) and from 2015 by the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz). In this table only the WLZ indications are included and partner residence and the first line residence subsidy scheme are excluded. The preliminary quarterly figures are published on persons who have ever been registered in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP). The further provisional and final figures are published on persons registered in the BRP at the reference date. The figures are broken down by basis and by self-employed. In this table, the abbreviation zzp is used for both care gravity package and care profile. Data available from: 1st quarter 2009 Status of the figures: The quarterly figures until 2021 are final. Quarterly figures for 2022 are more preliminary. The figures for 2023 are provisional. The figures in this table are based on data from the Centrum Indicatiestellingstelling Zorg (CIZ). Amendments as of 30 November 2023: The preliminary figures for the third quarter of 2023 have been added. When will there be new figures? The provisional figures shall be published no later than 6 months after the end of the quarter. No later than 1 year after the end of the calendar year, the figures shall be further provisional. No later than 2 years after the end of the calendar year, the figures shall become final.
