BD TOPO® Edition October 2015 (Ed. 15.2)

The TOPO® version 2.1 contains a 3D vector description (structured into objects) of the elements of the territory and its infrastructures, of metric precision. It is delivered pre-symbolised in the most common proprietary formats on the market. The objects of the BDTOPO® are structured into themes: — the road network and its address – the rail network – the energy transmission network – the hydrographic system – the buildings – the vegetation trees – the orography – the administrative structure – the points of activity or interest (PAI) – the place names. The 3D production process provides the altimetry of objects, as well as the height of buildings. The relief is described in the form of digital field models (NTMs). In version 2.1, all objects have a unique and stable identifier over time. OPenIG disseminates this data for the whole Languedoc-Roussillon region. The editions are departmental. The metadata of each department’s deliveries should be studied to see the general and thematic edition dates.
