We generated a cell culture model for epidermodysplasia verruciformis using CRISPR/Cas9 to delete CIB1 in an immortalized keratinocyte line. Nine CIB1 knockout and nine mock control clones were generated originating from a human keratinocyte line. We observed changes in gene expression between CIB1 knock out and control clones using RNA-seq.
