This dataset contains inherent optical property (IOP) data of Taihu Lake, including absorption coefficients and backscattering coefficients. Based on Sentinel 3A OLCI satellite data, an improved inversion algorithm for inherent optical properties suitable for complex inland waters was developed. This dataset includes four parameters of water bodies across four seasons of Chaohu Lake: total water absorption coefficient a443, phytoplankton absorption coefficient aph443, non-pigmented particulate matter absorption coefficient ad443, and backscattering coefficient bbp560, with a temporal range from 2016 to 2020. This is a typical lake inherent optical property dataset. The naming convention for sample files is [lake abbreviation]_IOP_[season]_[parameter].img, with specific details as follows: Lake abbreviation: TH represents Taihu Lake; Seasons: spring (March-May), summer (June-August), autumn (September-November), winter (December-February); Parameters: a443, aph443, ad443, bbp560, unit: 1/m; The dataset consists of 16 raster files.
