"This synthetic executable companion is a simulator inspired by John Snow\u2019s report on the 1854 Broad Street cholera outbreak. It includes generated data, figures, and documentation that translate a landmark historical epidemiology document into an executable artifact. The model captures key elements such as the spatial distribution of residents, pump choice, contaminated water exposure, and intervention scenarios including pump-handle removal. It is intended for educational, exploratory, and reproducibility-oriented use, enabling users to inspect how the logic of a historical public health investigation can be represented computationally. Important limitations should be noted. The simulator is not a validated reconstruction of the real outbreak and does not fully represent the environmental, demographic, behavioral, clinical, and reporting complexities of 1854 Soho. Several parameters, spatial assumptions, and behavioral rules are synthetic or approximate, and the outputs should not be interpreted as historically exact or as epidemiological ground truth. Rather, the simulator is a transparent computational approximation inspired by Snow\u2019s original account."
