Replication Data for: Electoral Turnout in Chile

This dataset contains the full replication materials for “Electoral Turnout in Chile: An Age–Period–Cohort Approach.” It includes a harmonized and processed version of the CEP public opinion surveys, combined into a single dataset suitable for APC modeling. The raw CEP data are publicly available from the Centro de Estudios Públicos (https://www.cepchile.cl/opinion-publica/encuesta-cep/), but the original files are not included in this package due to redistribution restrictions. The replication package provides: – The processed dataset (cep4) used for all analyses in the paper. – R scripts for data processing, APC modeling, and figure/table generation. – A README file documenting file structure, software versions, and workflow. – Helper functions used for pooling estimates and generating predictions. Running the scripts in numerical order reproduces all tables and figures in the published article. All code was written in R 4.4.2 and is fully reproducible.
