Data linked to the manuscript: Application of a microstructure-based particle-gas force model for the simulation of a fluidized bed AuthorsMaximilian Brömmer, Enric Illana Mahiques, Viktor Scherer, Berend van Wachem Corresponding author:broemmer@leat.rub.de Description Data from simulations is provided together with scripts for postprocessing and visualisation of particle velocity statistics, pressure drop and bubble statistics. Folder structureTop level folders for 3 different inlet velocities:* twoUmf: 2 times minimum fluidization velocity* threeUmf: 3 times minimum fluidization velocity* fourUmf: 4 times minimum fluidization velocity Each velocity folder contains a folder for the different drag modelling approaches:* diFelice: Di Felice drag model* microstructureVanWachem: Microstructure-based force modelling with mean drag by van Wachem* microstructureDiFelice: Microstructure-based force modelling with mean drag by Di Felice Data FilesData used in the manuscript is provided for each case. Particle velocity: Particle positions and velocities are provided for each timestep between t=5s and t=25s in the folder _particle_data_. Each timestep is saved as a hdf5-file with format "pd_timestep.h5". Pressure drop:* pressureDrop.dat: Mean pressure at inlet ("areaAverage(p_rgh)") over time to calculate the pressure drop between inlet and outlet. Outlet pressure is 0 Pa.* pressureDrop_p1p2.dat: Pressure at locations p1 and p2 over time. Bubble data:CSV file **bubble_data.csv** contains bubble position, area, diameter, weighted fluid velocity ("AverageWeightedVelocity(m/s)") and bubble rise velocity ("CalculatedVelocity(m/s)") for each detected bubble. ScriptsPython scripts utilising standard python libraries: Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Matplotlib, H5py* plotParticleVelocity.py reads hdf5 files, calculates and plots particle velocity statistics.* plotPressureData.py reads pressure data files and plots temporal evolution and power spectral density (PSD).* plotBubbleData.py reads bubble data files and plots bubble statistics.
