Nest records of P. scutellaris from iNaturalist Argentina, with data recorded up to 31 December 2025

New records of Polybia scutellaris outside its original distribution range, based on publicly available observations from iNaturalist. Only records with clear nest images allowing reliable species identification were included. Verified records correspond to La Pampa, Mendoza, San Juan, Córdoba, Neuquén, Río Negro, and southern Buenos Aires. The dataset consists of georeferenced localities and associated information and documents a significant range expansion in Argentina.
