The soursop is a fruit crop largely cultivated in Tropical regions. To provide resources on genomics of Annonaceae for both fundamental and breeding purpose, we assembled the genome of an individual of Annona muricata cultivated in China. The genome of Annona muricata (the soursop) was assembled using Illumina, PacBio and 10X Genomics reads, plus Bionano optical mapping to a scaffold level
