Although many studies have shown that plant leaf physiological traits differ at different stages, the molecular regulatory networks formed by leaf growth and development at different stages have not been fully elucidated.In order to expand the understanding of the changes of gene expression during the development of perennial plant leaves in natural environment, we took the perennial woody halophyte Nitraria sibirica as the research object, and analyzed the physiological characteristics and transcriptome profiles of leaves during vegetative growth period, flowering period and fruiting period (among which flowering period and fruiting period belong to reproductive growth period).It was revealed that the transcriptional regulatory network was involved in the regulation of leaf development at different growth stages, and the core regulatory factors regulating the growth and development pathway of Nitraria sibirica were screened and identified.
