Database for ESA Service Satellite Orbit DecAy (SODA)

Data comprises the research results of the analysis 116 interplanetary coronal mass ejections (ICMEs) which were used to establish the forecasting service SODA (Satellite orbit DecAy), which is available with the ESA Space Service Network, Expert Service Center Ionosphere (I.161). For each ICME the dataset includes the following parameters: Time periods of the disturbance as take from the Richardson and Cane ICME catalogue https://izw1.caltech.edu/ACE/ASC/DATA/level3/icmetable2.htm, minimum Bz component (ACE spacecraft) and the corresponding time stamp, orbit decay for 490 km, start and end time of the orbit decay, time difference between minimum Bz and orbit decay end, used satellite and approach, geomagnetic indices (ap, aa, am, kp, dat ae,pcn,pcs) and solar indices (F10.7, F30).
