NRS-10780 | Decisions of the Court of Marine Inquiry

This series consists of printed or duplicated typescript copies of decisions of inquiries by the Court of Marine Inquiry into incidents on ships in New South Wales waters. The incidents include wrecks, collisions, disappearances, sinkings, groundings, boiler explosions, incompetence or misconduct of masters and crew, and various breaches of regulations under the Navigation Acts. The decisions are bound into yearly volumes in rough chronological order according to date of decision. There are also loose duplicates which are in chronological order according to date of incident. The series is incomplete. Copies of other decisions will be found in series 2 (Section C) and in Maritime Services Board: Papers relating to inquiries conducted by the Marine Board of New South Wales and the Court of Marine Inquiry (2/10541-59).
