VPRS 11868 Register of Crown Grants

This series was created by the Land Branch of the Police Magistrate, Port Phillip District (VA 472) and the Superintendent, Port Phillip District (VA 473).These registers document the details of Crown Grants issued as a result of sale of land by public auction. Although VPRS 11863 Consolidated Name Index to the Register of Crown Grants provides references to books 1 to 19 of the register, only volumes 14 to 19 were transferred to the Public Record Office and the location of the earlier volumes is unknown.
