The Polar Sea Ice Concentration Dataset Retreived from HY-2B Radiometer（2019-2021）

Sea ice, as a critical component of the cryosphere in the climate system, serves as a significant indicator of climate change. Sea ice concentration, a key geophysical parameter for describing polar sea ice conditions, reflects the extent to which the ocean surface is covered by sea ice and directly impacts the exchange of energy and water vapor between the ocean and atmosphere. Based on the microwave radiometer data from China's Haiyang 2B (HY-2B) satellite during the period of 2019 to 2021, this paper utilized an improved Bootstrap algorithm to retrieve daily sea ice concentration data for both the Arctic and Antarctic. The precision of this product is comparable to that of similar products released internationally, demonstrating good consistency. This dataset holds significant value for research in polar science and global climate change.
