Brownfield Covenants, State 29/11/2022

The Flemish Government wishes to encourage and facilitate the redevelopment of abandoned industrial parks (so-called brownfields) by concluding covenants with project developers and investors. In doing so, the Flemish Government wants to encourage them to preferably reuse abandoned sites (brownfields) instead of opening up new areas (greenfields) for the development of industrial activities, housing or recreation.
