By utilizing Prss29-Cre, Pgr was conditionally deleted to identify the definitive roles of progesterone signaling in the uterine glands during pregnancy. This study provides new insights, demonstrating that PGR-P4 signaling in the glandular epithelium is required for uterine receptivity by regulating LIF on gestation day 4. Furthermore, we have shown that PGR signaling in glands is dispensable post-implantation.
本研究借助Prss29-Cre系统对孕酮受体(progesterone receptor, Pgr)基因实施条件性敲除,旨在明确妊娠进程中孕酮信号通路在子宫腺体中的决定性作用。本研究获得了全新的研究发现,证实腺体上皮细胞内的PGR-P4信号通路可通过在妊娠第4天调控白血病抑制因子(Leukemia Inhibitory Factor, LIF),对子宫容受性起到必需的调控作用。此外,本研究还证实,胚胎着床后,子宫腺体中的PGR信号通路并非必需。
