Understanding the dynamics of soil microbial communities can provide insight into the influence of fertilization practices, which may play a vital role in mediating nutrient turnover, thus improving soil fertility in agricultural ecosystems. We used the 515f/907r primer pair described above for the PCR amplification of both16S rRNA gDNA and cDNA. Unique barcode sequences(6bp) were added to each reverse primer to distinguish between the samples of gDNA and cDNA.
