Digital Archive from a Magnetometer Survey at Holt Lane, Hook, Hampshire, March-June 2024

This collection comprises raw and minimally processed magnetometry data, a greyscale image of processed magnetometry data and a CAD drawing from a geophysical survey at land off Holt Lane, Hook, Hampshire. Work was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd between March and June 2024. There are a number of linear and rectilinear, ditch-like anomalies and discrete positive responses could relate to pit-like features and/or areas of burning. Strongly magnetic debris in the southern part of the site is associated with land reinstatement of a M3 works site. Naturally formed anomalies are evident within the alluvial floodplain of the River Whitewater and also on higher ground to the west
