NCST real world brake activity of heavy-duty vehicles

This study uses a heavy-duty test vehicle to investigate the braking activity of HDVs. Brake parameters such as brake fluid pressure and brake temperature were measured along with the brake activity so that the brake activity can be characterized along with brake parameters. Ambient temperature, location, and speed were also measured. Testing was done by using simulated driving in a chassis dynanometer as well as real-world on road tests.Â
