To determine the tropism of HIV-1 in the latent reservoir of ART-treated individuals, we isolated resting CD4+ T cells from them and extracted total genomic DNA. The env gene was amplified from genomic DNA by nested PCR. The PCR products were then purified and deep sequenced by Illumina Miseq platform.
