Site Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at New Barn Farm, Barwell, Leicestershire, October 2024

This collection comprises images and a report, including site records, from an archaeological evaluation at New Barn Farm, Barwell, Leicestershire. Archaeological Services WYAS undertook archaeological trial trenching in October 2024, ahead of for a residential development on land surrounding the site. All trenches were devoid of archaeological remains with the exception of a single drainage ditch and multiple land drains, including a ceramic horse shoe-type land drain pipe dating from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century.
