The Australian Pulp Stabilisation Committee was set up in 1937 after a conference of representatives of the Egg Producers' Council, the Victorian Egg and Egg Pulp Marketing Board, and South Australian pulping interests (the Pulp Conference), which discussed plans to stabilise the marketing of Australian egg pulp.The function of the Committee, the members of which were appointed by each State's marketing board, was to implement schemes to achieve this end.The records of the Committee consist of the minutes of the Pulp Conference and subsequent minutes of the Committee, and correspondence.These records were held by the Egg Marketing Board.(12/5199.1). 1 bundle.Note:This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
