Socioeconomic and Psychological Determinants of Anthroposophic Medicine Use: A Cross-Sectional Survey Highlighting Statistically Relevant Associations with Age, Gender, Perceived Health Control, and Ambiguity Tolerance

This dataset contains anonymized data from a cross-sectional online survey conducted in Austria (n = 429) investigating the use, perceptions, and perceived scientific legitimacy of anthroposophic medicine (AM) and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). The dataset includes sociodemographic variables (e.g., age, gender, income, residence), healthcare utilization, attitudes toward conventional medicine, AM and CAM, as well as psychological measures including perceived health control, ambiguity tolerance, and authoritarian orientation.
