Continuous streamflow measurements from three different headwater tropical montane catchments in central Veracruz, Mexico (2008-2010)

Data packages available consist of continuous streamflow data from three adjacent headwater catchments (11-40 hectares) covered with old-growth (MAT) and regenerating (SEC) lower montane cloud forest, and degraded grazing pasture (PAS). The catchments are located on the eastern slopes (windward) of the Cofre de Perote volcano (2100 - 2500 m a.s.l.), Veracruz, Mexico. Streamflow data were derived from stream water levels recorded at the catchments outlets using V-notch weirs and atmospheric pressure transducers, and rating curves developed for each weir.
