In the present study, we aimed to evaluate the prevalence of NCP-K. pneumoniae in a collection of isolates from multiple centers in the United States and Chile, define the molecular epidemiology of these isolates, and characterize the relationship between porin integrity and copy number of the beta-lactamases with the differential susceptibility to carbapenems and ceftazidime-avibactam.
