资源简介:
The minimization of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is essential in distribution networks due to the increasing penetration of complex industrial equipment and non-linear loads such as power electronic converters, variable frequency drives, and rectifiers. These loads introduce harmonic distortions into the system, which degrade power quality, increase losses, cause overheating of equipment, and reduce overall system efficiency. Therefore, effective monitoring and mitigation of THD are essential to ensure reliable and stable operation of power systems. In this work the dataset is prepared of 336 samples developed to address %THD values. The dataset is generated from 11 kV distribution network connected with a nonlinear load using a MATLAB-SIMULINK model. Each sample in the dataset consists of 8 significant features that influence harmonic distortion levels. These features include the distribution line length, type of filter employed, and the percentage THD values of individual phase currents (Ia, Ib, and Ic) under both filtered and unfiltered conditions. In this dataset, class 0 type filter indicates C-type Filter, 1 type indicates Double-Tuned Filter, 2 type indicates High-Pass Filter, 3 type indicates Single-Tuned Filter, and Q indicates quality factor.
