JERS-1 SAR Global Rain Forest Mapping Project: Vol. AM-1, South America

Volume AM-1 of the JERS-1 SAR Global Rainforest Mapping Project CD-ROM series is a 4-disc set containing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery from the rainforest region of South America, including the Amazon Basin, during 1995-1996. The data were collected as part of an international initiative led by the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA). In accordance with NASA's Memorandum of Understanding with NASDA, the JERS-1 SAR data are provided under the condition that the recipient shall be required to submit evidence of its use to NASDA and/or NASA, if requested.
