资源简介:
This series comprises the Minutes and Agenda Papers for The Royal Women's Hospital Foundation Limited Board of Directors. The Royal Women's Hospital Foundation is a trust which was established in March 1997. The sole purpose of the trust is to provide money, property or benefits to the Royal Women's Hospital and, in particular, to promote and support the Women's. The trustee of the Royal Women's Hospital Foundation is the Royal Women's Hospital Foundation Limited (ACN 077 725 261), a company limited by guarantee. The Royal Women's Hospital Foundation Limited is a controlled entity of the Women's.The Foundation manages and coordinates all fundraising activities, and provides an important link between the hospital and individual donors, corporate and business sector supporters, community groups, external trusts, foundations and sponsors. The Foundation Board of Directors at its inception was comprised of nine members, including the office bearer position of Chair. Since 2002, the Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Women's Hospital has held one of the Foundation Board positions. The Foundation Board meets four times each year. The Foundation was established at the time of the Women's and Children's Health Care Network, which was created from a merger of the Royal Women's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital. The Foundation initially had a separate administration to the hospital, but the function of Board Secretary was transferred to the Executive Office in 2002. The change in format from large hard bound files to folders for individual meetings reflects this change. As there are gaps in the sequence of minutes before the hospital took over the administration of the Foundation, these records are supplemented by subject files containing Foundation Board Minutes from the Executive Office.Since the disaggregation of the network in July 2004, the Foundation Board's membership (now including hospital executive staff) and its operations have reflected a closer affiliation to The Royal Women's Hospital.
