PRIMARY EDUCATION THROUGH DIGITAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS: PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR ORGANIZING 21ST CENTURY COMPETENCIES

This article discusses the pedagogical foundations of organizing and developing 21st century competencies through the use of digital learning environments in the primary education process. The study analyzes the content and types of digital learning environments, as well as their role in improving educational effectiveness. In addition, the pedagogical potential of digital tools in developing students’ critical and creative thinking, problem-solving skills, information literacy, communication, and collaboration competencies is revealed. The article substantiates the didactic principles of designing and implementing digital learning environments, taking into account the age and psychological characteristics of primary school students. The research findings are of significant importance for the effective integration of modern digital technologies into primary education and for improving the quality of education.
