资源简介:
The Global Open Ocean DOP (GOOD) data set was curated in 2001 from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration—National Ocean Data Center’s (NOAA-NODC) online oceanographic profile database and as well as from other published sources not available from the NOAA-NODC database.
The GOOD dataset includes only paired measurements of soluble reactive phosphate (SRP), and total dissolved phosphorus (TDP) to derive the dissolved organic phosphorus (DOP) concentrations by taking the difference of TDP and SRP (TDP-SRP=DOP). The dataset was further reduced by omitting data where the resulting DOP was negative.
This dataset contains measurements from all major ocean basins and spans the years 1932-1994, depths of 0-5500 m, and consists of 233,118 paired measurements with their spatial latitudinal and longitudinal positions.
These data were presented in the book chapter "Dynamics of DOP" In Biogeochemistry In: Biogeochemistry of Marine Dissolved Organic Matter (D. A. Hansell, C. A. Carlson, Eds Academic Press, San Diego (1st edition 2002, and 2nd edition 2015).
The GOOD data set was also referenced in Liang et al., 2022 Scientific Data 9, 772 .
