Darwin Operator Symmetry Atlas (DOSA): A database of dihedral symmetries in complete bacterial replicons

A reproducible, DOI-versioned database of operator-defined symmetries in complete bacterial replicons. This release includes 24,090,832 sliding windows across 959 bacterial replicons (window sizes 100/500/1000 bp). Metrics include: (1) exact D_n orbit ratio under the dihedral action generated by circular shift and reverse-complement; (2) palindrome (R-fixed) and reverse-complement fixed-point detection; and (3) approximate symmetry via normalized minimum dihedral Hamming distance (d_min/L). The release also includes an epistemic Knowledge layer with provenance metadata and validation reports.
